A refreshing summer treat, loaded with nutrients.
Ingredients:
4 cups (1 L) fresh fruit salad*
½ cup (125 mL) applesauce (optional)
Directions:
Blend fruit salad in a blender or food processor until smooth. If you want to stretch it more, add applesauce. Pour purée into popsicle moulds and freeze. Makes about 4 popsicles.
* Banana, peach, pear, blueberry, and mango are a good combination, but any fruit will work well.
Nutritional Information: A good source of fibre, antioxidants, and vitamin C.
