Getting baby to sleep is hard, especially when baby is fussy or colicky. As parents we do whatever we can to calm them, rock them, comfort them. Some of us forgo doctor’s warnings about letting baby sleep in a car seat when it seems to be the only place baby is happy for a moment’s rest.
Enter the Newborn Rock & Play Sleeper. The folks at Fisher-Price really thought through what new parents need to have baby sleep well when a crib just won’t do. The sleeper can be rocked with the slightest touch (perfect when it’s the middle of the night and the sleeper is placed bedside) and features an inclined position for babies with acid reflux (and other cases when doctor feels it necessary). The soft fabric cradles baby and the included toy elephant entertains.
And there are a few more things that make this sleeper a keeper. The body insert and pad are washable, the side panels are vented, and we absolutely love the portability of the sleeper, which folds flat and can easily be moved from room to room or house to house.
