Busy Mother's Organizer, $14. Available at Amazon.ca
Okay, call me old fashioned, but I still love to write on paper, especially when it comes to to-do lists and my family's social calendar. Once or twice a year I let paper overrun my life and then I find myself in a large department store searching for an agenda that I will actually use. That's why I was so excited to try the Busy Mother's Organizer.
This is a giant to-do list combined with agenda. It has spaces for names, addresses and websites (also a space for passwords, should you so choose), an agenda, important dates section, notes and a to-do section that rivals any I've seen yet. But the part I liked the most is the tear-away shopping list and menu section. My weekly meal planning skills are getting sharper and I actually defrost things now for when I need them!
Another bonus is that each section has a divider with a fold-over so you can stick notes, clippings, etc. in and deal with later (something I do a lot with a two-year-old in one arm and a four-year-old at my side.
Finally, the little sticky notes with whimsical sayings are a nice touch to a fun little planner. I no longer have to look far to find a piece of paper to jot something down and stick to my fridge door, to my husband's desk (or computer screen), to magazine articles I want to return to, etc.
If you don't already have a system for keeping track and are looking to go the traditional (non-electronic) route, this organizer may just fit the bill.
