I saw a great television commercial the other day on the French channel TFO. A mom and her toddler son were in the grocery store and she was asking him to name the items she picked up. Then the camera panned to a father and his baby and he was naming and describing produce as well. The message: talking to your child is important at any age. They may not be able to respond, but they're listening and learning. Not to mention loving the one-on-one time.
