About Arren Williams
If Arren Williams were to walk through one of those new scanners at the airport, security personnel might be surprised to see chairs, tables and lamps floating around in his head. As one of Canada’s top stylists, editors and trend reporters, he is always on the hunt for the next great find that could take a room from blah to spectacular.

No matter how big your night table, you can't go cluttering it up with too much extraneous stuff. Here's a snap of mine, which is semi-uncluttered most of the time (give or take a trashy novel or two) and includes a swish little alarm clock that's a bit of a favourite.
That particular clock found its home there because it fits in super well with the mix-and-match feel of the room, and also because it sits very pretty next to both the table lamp I dragged home from Goodwill and the old Deco mirror.
Truth be told, I bought it a while back to use as a prop for photo shoot and – strangely – it just never made its way back to the store (this happens a lot!). Okay, now for the REAL truth: err, it isn't actually wound-up and working. Is that awful to admit?
I love the charm of old fashioned clocks, but all that tick-tockery would definitely keep me wide awake more than a triple espresso before bed.
