About Arren Williams
If Arren Williams were to walk through one of those new scanners at the airport, security personnel might be surprised to see chairs, tables and lamps floating around in his head. As one of Canada’s top stylists, editors and trend reporters, he is always on the hunt for the next great find that could take a room from blah to spectacular.
Modern {Music} Love
design diary: valentine's day music player canada
(Feb.09.11)
Like that Will Shakespeare bloke said (and no, he’s not a member of the Black Eyed Peas!) "If music be the food of love, play on." How true a sentiment; especially with Valentine’s Day breathing down our collective necks. If your other half thinks that music sounds best pounding out of an ugly black monolith, all wired together and looking like something from the set of Star Trek, then we've got some news that will be like (chic and modern) music for your ears.
The Tivoli iPal – in a swanky hi-gloss red that's perfect for V-Day – gives an incredibly rich and dreamy sound quality all wrapped up in a cute little box. You can plug your iPod into it, it comes with a tuner and, oh, the rechargeable battery lasts up to a rather mind-blowing 16 hours. And, for those of you that yen for a romantic bath time lulled by music, this little monkey is water-resistant, so it will be perfectly safe just in case the bubbles start flying.
Not into that red? No matter, since it also comes in classic black or modern white, and for the funsters out there who’s hearts are stirred by colour, check out the iPal in acid yellow, minty green and bright and kooky blue.
Thought that was sweet? You'll enjoy:
