It’s blue skies outside and I’m stuck in-studio this week shooting things for fall.
I’ll actually be shooting my first Holiday story — seriously — in a couple o’ weeks. In other words, I’m always thinking a season or two ahead, no matter how gorgeous the weather is...
So, while part of my brain is thinking gift wrap and sparkly ornaments, another part is yearning to be lazing about outdoors listening to chirruping grasshoppers and watching my whippet stalk squirrels. Which is where one of these hanging chairs comes in. Think of them as a more comfortable version of a hammock (which is basically an accident waiting to happen).
They’re available from lots of retailers across the board. The one on the left is Anthropologie’s rustic and handmade looking Knotted Melati Hanging Chair, while on the right there’s Urban Barn’s cool and more modern Flamenco Chair, which smartly comes with its very own stand.
Sign me up for either one, I’m ready for a snooze!
