It's a Wrap

Want to wrap your gifts without breaking your budget or buying unnecessary gift wrap (that's just going to end in a landfill site?)
All you need for these gift wraps is white printer paper, a few odds n' ends, and your creativity.
Directions
Wrap all gifts in white printer paper, securing with double-sided tape. Then follow the specific tips below:
Ribbon Wrap
Cut strips of pink, white and red ribbon to fit lengthwise around the gift, then secure on the back with a dab from the glue gun.
Button Wrap
Feed a thin strip of ribbon through five buttons of various sizes and colours. Glue ends of ribbon at the back of the gift.
Green Trees
Using old holiday cards or scrap pieces of gift wrap, cut out tree shapes and attach with double-sided tape. Use a glue gun to secure mini pom-poms or buttons to create the star on top of each tree.
Winter Wonderland
Cut a scrap piece of blue paper, gift wrap or wallpaper two inches narrower than the width of your gift and secure on the back with tape.
Using the "paper doll" method, multi-fold a piece of white paper, then cut out a tree shape, being sure to leave room at the bottom for "snow". Unfold paper and trim trees into different shapes if desired. Use double-sided tape to secure, then add a snowflake or special message using stickers or cutouts from old holiday cards.
