Rattle and Yum
make-it session canada
(Jan.22.10)

When our assistant editor, Jes Watson, decided to make a baby (congratulations, Jes!), we decided to make a baby rattle cake for her Sweetspot baby shower!
What You'll Need
- Two boxes of cake (or you can make it from scratch if you have lots of time!) -- we opted for one box chocolate and one vanilla
- Two containers of vanilla frosting
- Pink and yellow food colouring
- Large piece of cardboard wrapped in foil or large serving tray
Directions
1. Prepare one box of cake as directed and pour into 9-inch round pan.
2. Prepare second box of cake and pour into cupcake pans.
3. Bake as directed on box.
4. Add yellow colour to one tub of frosting and pink to the other.
5. Frost the large pan with yellow icing and the cupcakes with alternating colours.
6. Create "rattle" shape and enjoy!
