I so love receiving holiday cards – the thoughtfulness behind them is extra special and reason enough to flaunt them. Plus, they’re the simplest, no-fuss decoration so I’ve come up with this clever way to display greeting cards and decorate the mantel all in one go.
What You Need:
Cards
2” thick satin ribbon, cut 26” – 30” long
Double-sided tape or a stapler
Tacks or poster-gum
Greenery
Directions
1. Staple or tape (use double-sided) three cards to a piece of ribbon, centering the back of each card on the ribbon.
2. Attach the ribbon to the mantel edge using tacks, poster-gum or tape, and repeat securing the “card banners” in an even line.
3. Conceal the top of the ribbon with fresh evergreen bows, and finito – the mantel is done!
