Hang On

make-it session canada (Mar.12.10)

Hosting a shower or dinner party? Stop the “Which black coat is yours?” game at the door by making coat check tags for your guests.

What You Need
Scrap paper
Pencil
Felt-tip marker
Pretty paper
Scissors
Hole punch
Hangers (wooden are nice)

Directions

1. Using the scrap paper, draw a 6x3-inch tag. Cut it out.

2. Trace the tag onto the backside of your pretty paper. Cut it out.

3. Hole punch the top of the tag.

4. Write a guest’s name on each of the tags.

5. Slip the tag over the hanger and place in your front closet.

Tip: Place couples’ hangers side by side – it’ll make it even easier to find your guests coats at the end of the evening.
