Channel Alice in Wonderland at your next gathering by serving one of your courses in individual teacups. All you need is a variety of teacups and saucers (mix and match by picking up antiques at Goodwill or garage sales) and one of these easy ideas.
Serving Suggestions
Double Dip: Place a spoonful of spicy hummus in a teacup and add a few veggie sticks. Place a bit of basil in the centre to garnish.
Single Serve: Ladle butternut squash, tomato or roasted red pepper soup into teacup and top with a dollop of crème fraiche.
Inverted Dessert: Place a chocolate cupcake upside down in the teacup, then garnish with fondant, berries, caramel sauce or a dollop of ice cream.
Fresh and Fancy: Slice strawberries or other berries and place in the teacup, then add whipped cream and a mint leaf.
Bonus Idea (not shown): Ladle fondue into teacup, then lay a strawberry, pineapple & marshmallow shish kabob across top of cup, so your guest can double dip!
