This twig-covered candle holder will make a perfect hostess gift the next time you’re invited to a friend’s cottage for the weekend. It also adds a touch of rustic elegance to any tablescape.
What you’ll need:
Twigs (Free– but if you don’t have access to twigs, you can buy a box with enough to make two candle holders for $1.50 at Dollarama)
Glue gun
Glass votive candle holder
Candle
Directions:
- If using twigs from nature, cut to fit the height of your votive candle holder.
- Apply hot glue to each twig and attach to votive candle holder. Work your way around the holder, applying sticks as close together as possible.
- Use thinner twigs to fill in any spaces.
- Slip a candle inside the votive candle holder.
