Why it’s sweet: While we’d prefer to hit the tree lot with our family to choose a spruce, unfortunately our condo board discourages such messy holiday traditions. Instead we found ourselves at the mall in search of the perfect fake that not only looks the ever green part but is environmentally-friendly and completely PVC-free, too. Just a holiday wish? Thankfully not! Sears has hopped on the eco-tree bandwagon and not only do they have a wide array of green trees available, most are 100% recyclable. And while they’re a touch on the expensive side, they’re guaranteed to last for years – which is more than we can say for the trees that appear on the curb post-Christmas.
