We're sending love to creative Canucks by sharing three of our favourite current Canadian artists.
Joshua Jensen-Nagle
Our first glimpse of Jensen-Nagle's work was a gauzy beach scene, decorated with colourful and uneven polka dots (Never Ending Polka Dots). By re-photographing printed pictures, he creates dreamy scenes of The Louvre and St. Mark's Square, plus Fanatasia-esque images of birds, horses and other animals. (Fashion bonus: His talented wife is on our arm.)

Steven Nederveen
Nederveen's special techniques (including gold leaf applications) disguise the photo-origins of his glossy, vintage-vibe landscapes. This Alberta-educated artist now lives in London, but you can see his work up close and beautiful in Toronto and Vancouver galleries.

Juliana Neufeld
The Ryerson-educated, multi-talented artist (an expert in photography, mixed media, design, etc.) has a special gift for illustration (check out her work on the cover of Brendan Canning's solo album). We can't wait to see what she'll work on next. (A commissioned mural in our den, perhaps?)
