My mom prescribes Irish Cream for almost everything, including men! There’s not a girlfriend out there who won’t appreciate this sweet pick-me-up treat.
Ingredients
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
3 cups icing sugar
1 cup Irish cream liqueur
1-1/2 cups flaked filberts (hazelnuts), roasted at 325F (160C) for 5-7 minutes
Directions
1. Melt chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
2. Remove from heat, stir in icing sugar and Irish cream until the mixture is smooth.
3. Stir in nuts. Put mixture in a greased 8-inch square pan, spread evenly.
4. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into small pieces.
Warning: Please do not eat and drive, this fudge has some serious punch.
