This recipe is part of the Berry Delicious menu.
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz rum
3 oz wild blueberries, frozen
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1-2 tablespoons cane sugar syrup or sugar syrup*
Garnish:
Red currant panicle
Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients with crushed ice in a blender until it becomes a thick mixture. Garnish with a red currant panicle if desired.
2. Sugar syrup directions: Heat 1 cup water in a pot and add 250 g white sugar and stir until it has melted completely. Syrup needs to cool down before pouring into storage container and will last, while refrigerated, for about 3-4 weeks.
Serves 1
Tip: Use a large Martini glass for this drink. If serving a crowd, a blender has capacity for four times the above amounts.
