We`ve been wanting to make brisket all summer, although we did have some disagreement on how to make it. David wanted to do it BBQ-style and smoke it, but Sian wanted to cook it in the oven. We compromised, and while the weather was good we smoked a brisket. It wasn`t quite what either of us imagined it, so when the weather started getting cooler, we headed off to the butcher again for brisket 2.0.
