Why Porc en Croute?
The first time Sian cooked David something special, it was one of the fanciest recipes she could think of from her childhood, Robert Carrier's 'Porc en Croute.' The recipe had been carefully transcribed by Sian's mom from The Robert Carrier Cookbook (sadly now out of print).
She was pleasantly surprised to discover that while it seems really fancy, it's actually not that complicated. As a result, it's on our regular rotation of dinner party recipes.
