If I Could Turn Back Time

sarah's space canada (Mar.12.09)

OK, so I know it's only an hour and that I've had since Sunday to recover from springing ahead but I'm still having trouble getting out of bed in the morning. I mean, 60 minutes is 60 minutes people. What could I possibly accomplish in that time, you wonder? Well, I could finally paint the trim in my bathroom. I could make Parisian Fruit Tarts and invite my best gals over for tea. I could call my mom to catch up proper rather than just having a quick chat while we're both on the run. Or I could simply pull the covers up over my head and snuggle in a little closer to my T-Rogers to hide from the world for just a little longer.

Sigh. But time keeps on ticking and Daylight Saving Time doesn't stand still for anyone (no matter how sweetly we plead), so I've decided I need a little something to remind me that time is still on my side. So my plain, old digital alarm clock is out and one of these inspiring time keepers is in…

Past
The functionality is basic but the retro design is so cool.

Present

I gravitate to neutrals by nature but a pop of colour never hurts. (Plus it will help me to save for a rainy day.)

Coin Bank Alarm Clock, US$69.99, www.gizmine.com

Future
This clock does it all. His and hers alarm schedules, a gradual awake feature, customizable snoozing, an MP3 adapter…I could go on.

I hope one of these beauties can help you to rise and shine with ease.
