One of my all time favourite shops recently moved to a brand new location. Teatro Verde’s new flagship store, located at 100 Yorkville, is probably the most beautiful and inspirational retail store I have been to. Gorgeous house wares, furniture, gifts and florals are presented in unique room settings over two floors. The product presentation is so elegant and beautiful that the entire space gets your creative juices going.
I was thrilled to be invited to the opening night gala of the store and to see the “Teatro Verde” lifestyle at its best. Guests arrived to walk the green carpet and were welcomed by traditional Taiko drummers and (of course) the paparazzi (Teatro has its share of celebrity clientele). Inside, guests were invited to see the new space and all of the shops features and products. Lucky for you, I brought along my camera to capture some of the magic. Check out below.
As for my personal favourite features of the new store, I love the Assouline bookstore (located on the 2nd floor), the kids room (featuring Monkeez and the worlds largest sock money by Monkeez) and the huge floral fridge (which was used as a champagne bar for the launch party).
