Bakeries? Tasty goodness. Bathing suit season? Good times. Balancing the two? Good luck. (Mom’s motto, muffin is just a fancy word for cake, still rings deep.) 
So when we heard that Vitalicious launched a Canadian version of its popular online shop, we quickly called on the healthy Muffin Man (well, his website equivalent).
And there we found everything needed to balance taste buds with well-rounded nutrition. Devouring an entire VitaMuffin, in flavours like CranBran and Deep Chocolate ($19.95 for 16), only set us back 100 calories. Plus they’re fat free and full of fibre – all the things that make snacking feel right.
Avoiding muffin tops (as in too-tight jeans) is easy with VitaTops, the muffin tops (as in the best part) that complement our daily coffee break. Fudgy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pomegranate hit our dessert moods, Corn covers savoury and various bran mixes do fruit (around $30 for 24).
Even our indecisive side is indulged with the Super Sampler ($42.70), providing 24 Tops in different flavours and the equally mind-blowing brownies. To protect us from too much of a good thing, we can easily pop extras in the freezer (the fresh taste lasts each thaw).
And baked goods and bathing suits lived happily ever after…
