Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we love to fill up in the a.m.
For years, the famed Diner Deluxe on Edmonton Trail has been our go-to. Now, under new ownership, it’s getting a subtle update while staying true to its roots.
In addition to the new faces around the 1950s-inspired diner, the menu also has some fresh items. We still love the eatery’s classics – meatloaf hash with soft poached eggs, spinach and red pepper jelly ($15) and grilled ruby red grapefruit with rosemary syrup ($4.25) – but we’re welcoming newbies like the maple-grilled salmon filet with sautéed vegetables and herbed wile rice ($17) and the pan-seared salmon BLT ($13).
Lunch is looking pretty important right about now, too.
