CHARPOP Restaurant Pops Up

We occasionally indulge in fast food, and we’re all for the slow food movement, but fleeting food? Now that’s exciting.

Details surrounding pop-up eatery CHARPOP have been hush-hush for months, and the location and menu under wraps, but this Sunday all will be revealed. That is, until the restaurant disappears three days later.

On the heels of Calgary’s food truck invasion, CHARCUT Roast House’s Connie DeSousa and John Jackson, along with Aviv Fried from Sidewalk Citizen Bakery and Grant van Gameren, formerly of Toronto's Black Hoof, are rolling in (and quickly rolling out) an entire restaurant from the 15th to the 17th.

And with such an eclectic team of renowned chefs, the offerings are sure to please every discerning diner.

It’s the thrill of a brief encounter.
