I was late to the online-shopping game. My argument was that the feeling after buying online was just not the same as taking the time to peruse the stores, try things on, and walk away with something new. But I'll admit, I was so wrong. Online shopping is a different high, but equally satisfying (I know, I sound like I have a bit of a problem but I assure you it's under control).
I didn't take full advantage of Cyber Monday earlier this week (well, one pair of boots doesn't count as full advantage) but when it comes to holiday shopping, I've decided to click and buy away as much as possible this season. Although my list of great online gifts is long, I have narrowed it down to five favourites. I try to follow the rule of thumb that if you don't know what to get someone, buy something you'd really want yourself (hint, hint, see below).

Netflix Subscription
I really miss movie rental stores. And it sucks to have your PVR curate which movies you're able to watch on any given night. Although the gift of a Netflix subscription isn't very sexy, the receiver will thank you when they're curled up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn watching that movie they've wanted to see for so long.
