Happy New Year!
I love the start of January, there's all this hope and optimism and just like every year, it's the beginning of a new you and a new me. I do however, get super annoyed at the crowds of people that decide to join my yoga studio this month but that doesn't mean I don't still love that they are making resolutions and I think everyone should decide to do something new/different/exciting in 2012. And if that's yoga, I guess that's OK. Plus, I take comfort in the fact that those same people are usually long gone by mid-February (sorry, but it's true).
I am writing this post before Christmas as we're going away for the holidays and the laptop is not welcome so I have yet to finalize my resolutions but I am sure some kind of physical activity will come into play once I make my list. And just like those failed yogis, I too have a hard time remaining optimistic come February—at least when it comes to hitting the gym or a daily yoga class. So I thought this year, I would put together a head-to-toe workout ensemble that is sure to at least make me/you want to make an appearance at some physical activity establishment.
After all, you don't want to waste this hot outfit on hanging out on the couch!

Reebok Real Flex
At first, I wasn't sure about the bright pink sole but it's grown on me. The lightweight flex shoes are everywhere these days and most sport brands make them but I like Reebok's version the best for both feel and look.

Old Navy Ruched Compression Capris
These pants are probably the best yoga pants I've ever tried. And I've tried a lot of yoga pants. The ruching up top is flattering and because the pants sit right below the waist and are quite snug, they stay put even in the most awkward positions. And I hear they are great for running as well.
