Sparkle glitter and Kraft dinner aren't the only things we've left behind along with our glory days of University. 
And although we still think a milk crate is a multi-use gem, it's time to move towards a more sophisticated style of home décor - easy now that world-renowned Kreiss has opened in Toronto.
We're building one piece at a time, starting with the Rangoon Bed ($7,645) complete with bronzed claw feet and woven rattan. Our next purchase will be a coffee table, but we're having trouble with so many stunning pieces to choose from. Should we go with the Agassi Graf Collection Vicenza Stone Coffee Table ($3,795) made of Pietra di Vicenza sandstone, or the massive Renaissance Coffee Table ($3,294) made of glass and wrought iron?
We'll wait until the huge off-white Panama Sectional ($7,123) sofa has been delivered to make the final decision.
Sure, sophisticated living might take some saving up (but we can always go back on KD for a while).
