We've scoured the city and narrowed down the best parks for your furry friends. Walking the dog is about to become a lot less of a chore (unless you're referring to the yo-yo)...
Trinity Bellwoods Park
With one of Toronto’s largest off-leash areas our mutts can run free (well, sort of).
Trinity Bellwoods Park; 790 Queen St. W. (at Shaw St.)
Evergreen Brick Works
We love that this park feels like a mini forest and has a fenced area so there's no more worrying about Spot getting distracted and wandering (too) far away.
Evergreen Brick Works; 550 Bayview Ave. (at Pottery Rd.); www.evergreen.ca
Sherwood Park
This mid-town park is the perfect green urban oasis for both us and our dogs. We love wandering around the walking trails after the drool factory has run off some steam in the off-leash area.
Sherwood Park; 1200 Mt. Pleasant Rd. (at Sherwood Ave.)
High Park
The off-leash area in Toronto’s largest park is a guaranteed spot for our pups to meet (and make) friends.
High Park; 1873 Bloor St. W. (at Parkside Dr.)
Cherry Beach
Perfect for a hot day, our little swimmers love this one because it’s right on the lake.
Cherry Beach; foot of Cherry St.(South of Unwin Ave.)
