Local Designers on Display at The Window

If there was one thing we truly loved in elementary school, it was arts and crafts time.

Now that knitting and scrapbooking have become de rigueur among adults again, we’re happily browsing the goodies at The Window Community Art Shop.

Local designers and artists sell their handcrafted wares at this adorable shop-slash-studio. We come here to pick up items like Penny Coupland cards ($4), Justpotters garden markers ($20) for our herb garden and Fragment tusk necklaces ($75). And if we're in a DIY mood, we can sign up for sewing classes ($25), too.

Turns out that arts and crafts are still our favourite things to do.
