    Some of the best olives, baklava and marinated seafood salad this city has to offer. Stock up on their spinach pies, homous, pita and Greek salad, and create your own Shirley Valentine party.

    Owner Sean Heather missed Ireland so much when he moved to Vancouver he brought a little here for us (along with many other international items). This Gastown haunt is stoked with artisan bread, Neal's yard cheeses, and serves up stellar sandwiches.

    It's really all about bread at La Baguette, and cured meats and cheeses at Oyama Sausage, but we couldn't help but notice that if we took a little of one, plus a little of the other, we may have just created our own little piece of heaven. Sometimes you've got take responsibility.

    There's a huge selection of cheeses and cured meats here, but we really dig into the sandwich bar. Walk through Vancouver's Little Italy with your new found treasure. Viva Italia!
