The people have spoken: Caving to pressure from devoted clients, Simon Chang has finally opened his first boutique.
Dominated by Clockwork Orange-style display cases and the colour white, Simon Chang Destination feels like a pristine jewellery box. We scooped up Chang’s flattering jersey separates ($200) and a few splashy cocktail dresses ($225-$350) from his runway collection for the upcoming film festival (but not without raiding the scarves, sunglasses and handbags first).
And now that the boutique is open, maybe we can finally talk Simon into designing shoes.
