We’re about to be conquered.
This week we’ll get a rare opportunity to pick up accessories from Calgary’s Design and Conquer when Portobello West Market opens.
The combination of unusual textiles and shapes (Morgan Mallett got her start in graphic design) make for pieces that appeal to both our inner science nerd and punk. Our favourites are the white futuristic mitosis earrings ($150) and the sexy black vader arm cuff ($160) – both pair brilliantly with a simple dress or jeans.
We’re also coveting the bright yellow Nebula earrings ($100), especially since half the proceeds will go to the Calgary Humane Society.
