We don’t mind that April showers bring May flowers. We’re not so happy that August weekends spent lazing away bring September school or suddenly-more-serious office days. Track and Field DesignsThis time around, however, the post-summer return to the daily grind is a bit more bearable. No, we haven’t discovered a super-caffeinated bevvie to flit the mornings away, but we do have a new vintage- and cottage-inspired laptop bag ($40) by Sasha Barry of Track and Field Designs that we’ll be proudly toting to the office.

And that’s not all. Hand sewn and silkscreened with owls, bicycles, and other quaint objects, Barry’s collection now includes decorative wall art (from $15), perfect for spicing up any drab cubicle, makeup pouches ($14) for after-lunch touch-ups, brooches (from $8) for perking up our office attire, and pillowcases ($29) to make our mid-day naps all the more comfortable.

As for those September weekends spent lazing away? Look for purses and t-shirts soon, too--so our stylish accessories won’t be limited to days spent at the office.
