My Poupette

We’ve been wondering what Mischa Barton has done lately, or at least, ever since she hung up the quilted Chanel purses she wore as Marisa Cooper on The OC. No matter—we’ve been fans of her signature style since day one, especially those simple, pendant necklaces she single-handedly made the biggest It item for your neck.
Wishbone, anyone?
We’ll pass, thanks, now that Poupette has landed in Canada and its earth- and life-inspired pendants can be found exclusively at Vancouver’s Umeboshi (online orders also available). Super-savvy owner Stephanie Gorrell found the necklaces and rings, designed by French Riviera-raised, New York-based Geri Roucaute, on a recent buying trip and, like us, was instantly enchanted.
But, oh, how to choose? The solid 14-karat gold key necklace ($150) was a no-brainer, as was the gold leaf ring ($85). The trouble came when we had to choose between the silver acorn ($132), the gold coral disc ($145), the elephant head ($125), and the vintage-inspired cursive necklace ($125), featuring the words “poupette”, of course.
If we had Mischa’s bank account, trust us, we would have bought them all.
