We’re not always fans of remixed songs—sometimes, original really is just better. But a remixed jewellery collection by an established Vancouver 
designer? Now that’s a tune we can chirp to.
Enter Teresa Smed, whose popular Dotted Loop jewellery line now includes the aptly-named, higher-end Glam Vintage Remix series. Using a combination of 14 karat gold and sterling silver, glass, and vintage and antique jewellery, the collection exudes a perfect mix of rock ‘n’ roll and timeless elegance.
This Saturday night, we’re wearing our new LBD with the sexy-yet-subtle I Heart Pearls layered bracelet ($88), featuring reclaimed vintage chains and pearls and a gold-plated Balinese clasp. Of course, the antique pirate booty necklace ($198) also looks great with the dress, so we were sure to pick that one up too. And for brunch with the mother-in-law the next morning? You’ll find us donning the I Heart Bows earrings ($38)—the sweet-looking antidote to our sometimes-quick tongues.
We’ll have to work on remixing that.
