Sure we are always keen to display our motherly love, but the idea of plastering the back of our minivan with a cartoon family portrait sticker seems extreme. We’d rather show our mom status on our hearts, or necks and wrists.

Jamie Livingston Designs Jamie Livingston Designs helps us spread the love with a line of jewellery made just for moms. Handmade glass beads are the canvas to showcase our kids. Wrapped in sterling silver that is hand-stamped with their name on one side and birth date on the other, the beads come in an array of colours and designs. So while at first we may fancy shades of aquamarine, we can always go back for a new colour combination.

These sterling silver bracelets and necklaces ($55-$150) can be custom ordered, with up to five beads each, exclusively at Head 2 Toe Accessories. We’re getting the best of both worlds: A new addition to our jewellery box and a badge of our motherly pride. And we get to be bedazzled, not our car!
