The style: Wide-brim hats

Why we love it: Wide-brim hats were huge through the late '60s and early '70s, and we can definitely see why. We'll be bringing back these brimmy beauties in gorgeous hues and playful textures this season; they're a great way to shake up autumn staples. Plus, they provide protection from the fall sun (or rain)!
How to pull it off: This style can be as casual or as sophisticated as you like, but it’s best for daytime wear rather than formal occasions. Throw on a neutral-coloured hat to top off your favourite outfit, or choose a brightly hued brim to pack a punch and make more of a statement. You might have to try on a few hats to find the perfect fit, and make sure it doesn’t sit too far back on your head. We suggest jazzing up a cute tailored coat and tights, heels and a pencil skirt, or pair a hat with with jeans, a simple tee and a scarf.
