Go Ahead, Get Dirty

With all the shower gels, body washes and frothing creams on the market, a bar of soap hasn’t entered our cleansing routine in some time.

Well, what’s old is new again – and what’s old is being redefined with Unna & Co.’s line of exotic herbal soaps ($33-$92). Completely organic and utterly decadent, the little egg-shaped bars will have you running to wash your hands (or any other part of you in need of a hardy scrub).

Previously exclusive to the Hollywood set (these beauties have been regulars in swag bags at the Grammys and Oscars), they have finally landed in Calgary. We first found ourselves admiring them inside their luxurious box of natural Thai silk, which, along with the soaps, are genuinely handcrafted in Thailand. But we couldn’t resist taking one home after checking out the 19 scents available (we’ve gotten filthy for Purple Orchid & Lavender and Mixed Herb). And there is a flavour and colour to suit all tastes and any bathroom decor.

So as you try and decide which scents to leave in the guest bathroom, and which to covet for your own, we’re going to find a legitimate reason to go and get dirty.
