Two brands are better than one

Stella McCartney for Le SportSac and even Proenza Schouler for Lancôme. But home fragrance collaborations? Well, we can’t really think of any...until now. 
The Italian leather goods house Bottega Veneta has teamed up with the traditional French L’Artisan Parfumeur to create an innovative home collection which includes scented candles, room sprays and perfumed objects. We recently added the Intrecciatis ($70-$140) scented leather charms to our wish list. The luxury accessory is made with Bottega’s trademark leather weave and is available in black, red, silver or brown.
We can’t wait to slip the Intrecciatis into our less-than-fresh smelling purse or on to our desperate-for-a-carwash dashboard for a rich leathery, woodsy and iris fragrance. The luxury candles ($190) are also enrobed in the signature leather weave and like the sachets, scream Bottega Veneta (music to our ears). Our favourite scent (Intreccio No.3) evokes images of the Mediterranean or a morning in Capri with the scent of jasmine, eucalyptus and stone pines.
A Bottega bag may not be in the budget this year but the smell of luxury certainly is.
