Putting our hair-raising concerns to rest is the Jami Symons Salon. A regular on CityTV, Symons has run his hands through the hair of countless celebs at the Toronto Film Festival, won national styling awards and is the Artistic Director for AG Hair Cosmetics.
Lucky for us, his brand new 1,500-square foot boutique salon caters to us lay folk jonesing for a celeb-like do. With its all-white décor, vases of sweeping flowers and sunlight streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, it’s hard not to feel at ease. It’s also the first salon in North America to become an AG Hair Cosmetics Concept Salon.
Credentials and expertise come with a price, however. A woman’s cut with Symons starts at $100, while colours and highlights begin at $110 and $150. (We pick Fridays since there’s cheese and wine with your cut and style.)
Besides, perfect hair goes so well with future adventures.
