There are some things I never get tired of: 
- Going for pedicures
- Having afternoon tea with my husband on our dating anniversary
- Buying a new notebook (even though I have three on the go at the time)
- Swimming in my dad's pool in the summertime
- Watching Glee (or listening to the soundtrack the girls in the office play on quiet days)
The One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale is one of those things. It always comes right at the moment that you've just started to panic about the gift-buying season, swooping in with original and thoughtful gift ideas for everyone on my list. This year's show starts today and runs until December 6th at Direct Energy Centre.
Here's what I'm most looking forward to at this year's show:
- Trudi Smith's Double Happiness notebooks
- The One of a Kind Green section, featuring eco-friendly products.
- The Tea Pot Competition -- where you can vote for your favourite tea pot.
- Brad Turner glassware
- On December 2, 35 cents from every ticket purchase will go directly to local shelters for women and children in need.
- Naomi Levitin jewellery
- The chance to express your own craftiness (with the help of some experts!) at one of the Hands-On Workshops.
- Parcel check. Drop your bags at parcel check, and they'll hold them for you all day, then carry them out to your car when you're ready to leave!
- The chance to win a $250 shopping spree at www.oneofakindshow.com.
