Shopping 101

Binge shopping has its benefits (instant gratification knows no boundaries) but it leaves us with a ton of trendy gear that we tire of faster than, say, a Britney Spears nuptial. Image consultants Mona Marino (aka fairy-god shoppers) put the pop, wow and longevity back into our wardrobe. Their 40 years of fashion-business experience helped us define and develop our own personal style. (And we thought we knew it all!)
We said "thank you" when they consulted and revamped our closet. Nodded consent when they identified key clothing items to purchase and kissed them in gratitude when they told us that we absolutely must buy another pair of jeans. (Hmmm, Fidelity, Second Denim or Lucky?)
During our consultation ($100 per hour, three-hour minimum, and a half-day of shopping; $750 per package inclusive of one-day shopping) Anne Marineau and Yves Monast asked heaps of questions to learn our likes and dislikes. Then, taking our lifestyle (jet-set career woman that we are), fashion problem areas and budget into consideration, they outlined our next shopping steps. The next day we tried, changed and tried on outfits until we found the perfect fit.
