The best things in life may not be free but as far as actually true clichés go - they are worth waiting for.
E
ven admitted instant gratification junkies like us (who have been known to text message in the movies) are prepared to pine for the new Jessica Jensen purses.
A sneak peek at these sleek leather bags was all it took for us to pull out our /08 agendas (already filling up from fashion week) and circle March for the official launch. In the meantime, we can still "shop" online to guarantee a bag (especially the limited edition models) before the actual unveiling.
Buttery soft leathers, soft go-with-anything tones and sleek, structured shapes will easily keep our minds occupied until March. That, and the screen saver we made of the limited butterfly-embossed cream Bloom Tote ($758), beige croc Envelope Clutch ($298) and heather grey Portfolio Foldable Clutch ($428). Jessica's history in accessories - with big brands like Michael Kors and Calvin Klein, to name-drop for her - left the former Fashion Director more than ready to share her expertise.
So maybe there is something to this delayed gratification thing. But we still don't get how slow and steady could win a race.
