Surpassing the Scarves

It always makes us proud to see a homegrown talent succeed.

While her line of scarf shirts (circa 2006) got Erin Kleinberg well on her way, her expanded Fall/Winter Collection has solidified her as a hot new designer (both home and away...).

She’s graduated from scarves, and is now focusing on elegant, yet comfortable tops made of super-soft tercel (a better-than-a-baby’s-bottom fabric) with hand-sewn beaded and gem embellishments.

When we first got a glimpse of the much-anticipated collection, we knew it would be the one to make her famous. The Swarovski embellished cardigan ($295) is perfect for chilly fall evenings, while the beaded leaf shirt ($355) is the ultimate in night-out comfort. And when we’re looking for something a little more casual, Kleinberg’s sheer hoodie ($150) will take us comfortably through the summer-fall transition.

With celebrities (Mary-Kate and Ashley) and superstores (Barneys LA, Beverly Hills and Vegas) becoming instant fans, we’re happy to wear our hometown pride on our sleeve. (And chest. And back...)
