Oh, Avocado. How we love thee. Not only have you been adding flavour to our favourite foods for years. Now, we hear, you’re the inspiration behind our latest go-to boutique: Vocado.
Just like you, dear A, this adorable Liberty Village store is summery and earthy (note the three large trees on entering). We love its design (white walls and large windows make for a light and airy feel) and its focus on Canadian designers. Plus, we can always count on it to add some zip to our patio-side wardrobe.
From the Juma sweater with vest ($130), to Susana Erazo’s amazingly crafted leather belts ($100-$150), there’s something in-store for everyone (thanks to owner Emily Dobbie, who also offers styling by appointment). We can see the cute floral Imaginary Friend Apparel skirt ($128) on anyone or the array of Member’s Only liquid leggings ($79).
We plan to return for several of the lily + jae tees and tanks (from $50) and a pair of Hunter rain boots ($132).
Packed with great labels like J Brand, Mackage, Designers Remix and Teenflo, we’re positive, this is one relationship that’s built to last.
And with a lot less fat (heart healthy or not).
