We always enjoy being catered to, so when we found a resto that offered service fit for the Gods, we were in heaven. (The fact that it’s a BYOW with a modern take on presentation only sweetened the deal.)
Chef Giovanni Apollo’s team at Apollo pampered us with attentive service and fresh, exquisite platters of stunning dishes (all prepared as variations on the same theme) to share and enjoy.
The feast began with the citrus-tinged, poultry-themed Basse-Cour Platter ($41), with duck à l’orange, peppered leg of quail, gravied pheasant and succulent rooster in a creamy, buttered sauce. La Mer Platter ($43) was a seafood lover’s dream, offering fresh monkfish, caviar, tuna, snapper and sole tempura. The ultimate palate-cleanser? The tangy tastes of passion fruit, red berries and bubble gum that make up the Ice Cream & Sorbet Platter ($10).
And after discovering Apollo’s catering service, we’re now fantasizing about daily plattered feasts.
Is gluttony the deal breaker for getting back into heaven?
