We have a few foolproof beauty tricks up our sleeve (lip balm cures flyaways), but when it comes to food, we’re always looking for something new.
Leave it to Chef Kris Barnholden and Mis Trucos(“my tricks” in Spanish), a 30-seat (plus patio) tapas spot.
We admired the handmade bar while sipping a Barcelona (gin, orange liqueur, white wine, elderflower and soda, $8). Then we nibbled our way through classic tapas like Gazpacho with Baby Shrimp and Avocado ($7) or Spice-Crusted Tuna, Couscous and Preserved Orange with Black Olive Oil ($12).
