After a week of fashion, how fitting that we found ourselves checking out a fashionable new eatery.
Cinq 01, freshly opened by Amber's Toufik Sarwa and designed by CommuteHome, is certainly set to be a College Street staple.
Chef Jo Castrinos (of Splendido) has created a tasty (and surprisingly rich for the style set) menu with a focus on elevated comfort food with a French twist. Think a Foie Gras Hotdog ($22), Cornmeal Crusted Pickerel with crab coleslaw ($23) and Chickpea Fries with chipotle mayo ($9).
With Grace and Teatro’s fab patio nearby, this is easily our chicest new destination on the strip.
