Scrumptious. Italian.
That’s the modus operandi at Italian Kitchen – the latest restaurant to hit the city core.
From the décor to the food, the space is influenced by the country that gave us Sophia Loren and cannelloni (think linen tablecloths, photos of the old country and divine Buffalo mozzarella).
The menu covers the basics of Italian fare—minus the pizza—with a contemporary twist. The dynamite Caprese salad ($12) and the multitude of pasta dishes like the commendable shrimp trofie ($13) definitely get our bravo. (Plus, we’re still talking about the butternut squash velouté, $10.)
Buon appetito!
