Steel drums beating in the background, the sweet smell of tropical juice…oh, how we love island life.
And now we’ve found a way to bring the Caribbean home while leisurely lunching at Flap Flap’s newest location. A creation from the owners of Kalalu, this Ahuntsic soon-to-be hotspot serves up Haitian favourites.
On the menu: red beans and rice ($3), pan roasted chicken ($11), sweet and sour chicken wings ($7) and classic Caribbean plantains ($2) to top it off. All served in a friendly atmosphere with a touch of spice and tons of colour.
While we may not be hitting the beach anytime soon, we can certainly feel the heat.
